What it Takes to Please God

Faith is inegimatic because it works on an unseen plane.  Faith is clearly distinct from the work or effort we produce, but the tends to produce works.  To get to the point, I believe that faith is a kind of "Forward Momentum" in the belief that good results are expected.  So, there is a pragmatism to this that might help us understand how faith is generated.

Faith is how we please God as seen in Hebrews 11:6.  Simply started, faith "moves forward" before we see the result.  It expects results, but cannot predict when or how the results will come.  We "move forward" because we believe in an inevitable result.

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

That belief is not in mere hope or dreams of success.  It is not a vision board or a picture that details your idea of success.  It is the belief that God is a real factor in our lives and He rewards those who are willing to move forward trusting in His provision.
